Kipper Designs began a few years back trading as Kipper Cards. It was the brainchild of Heather Manning, a mother of two and art enthusiast based in Leamington Spa, UK.
Heather grew up in Liverpool in the same neighbourhood as Ian Mitchell, a now internationally acclaimed illustrator who has seen his work published throughtout the world. Although Heather and Ian were friends since teenager years, only twenty years later did they join forces to produce cards for distributing amongst friends and family. With strong interest in the cards expressed from everyone around, Heather took herself into business.
Heather now heads up Kipper Designs and works with Ian to create new and inspirational artwork. Not only do we produce cards but also sell artwork in a variety of different formats including canvas and giclée.
Heather is also a Christian and is deeply committed to environmental concerns. As such, she strives to produce the artwork using sustainable, environmentally friendly methods. Additionally, 10% of the profits on the sale of all Christmas cards go to support the work of Tearfund.
As Kipper Designs grows, we are keen to work with new and talented artists to help showcase the fruit of their gifts to the world.
